Switzerland is considered as one of the most beautiful countries in the world and it is no wonder why people include this in their places to visit before they die. This country is known for having breathtaking scenery, but aside from that it also has many more things to offer tourists such as various cultural attractions giving it a very unique sophistication and vibe.

One attraction that Switzerland has to offer is Matterhorn, which is considered as one of the highest mountains in the Alps and can be found on the border of Italy. Its peaks has a total height of 4,478 meters, and the amazing thing about it is that the four faces of its of its steep lie directly in the direction of the different compass points. For tourists who are not into climbing, they will still be able to enjoy a trip to this mountain because at the foot is a village called Zermatt, which is an international resort that offers carriages drawn by horses along with high quality hotels and restaurants. The peaceful ambiance of this village is primarily brought about by the fact that motorized vehicles are not allowed to enter. 

Another very popular attraction in Switzerland is called Jungfraujoch, or more famously known as “Top of Europe;” tourists look forward to experiencing the train ride that they need to take to be able to reach the observation deck that is 3,454 meters above the ground. This is also a very popular attraction because it houses amazing features as well such as the Great Aletsch Glacier which is considered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Interlaken is considered as one of the favorite holiday resorts in Switzerland primarily because of its uncommon location – having Lake Brienz in the East and Lake Thun in the West. The center of town is a place called Höhematte and it is a land that reaches up to 35 acres; it is a place for amazing flower gardens, cafes, hotels, along with breathtaking view of the mountains. Lucerne is also one of the best spots for tourists who want to experience a taste of nature and city because it is surrounded by a blue lake and mountains, bridges, historic buildings, and fountains. The most famous landmark in this city is the Chapel Bridge which also stands a historical landmark since it was built up during the 14th century. Aside from this, there is also a park that houses one of the most famous structures which is the Lion Monument that was built to honor the death and heroism of Swiss Guards during the time of the French Revolution.
